Booking & Appointments

1) How do I book a test with Patheasy?

You can book online (website/app) or via our support team. Choose your test/package, add patient details, select a time slot, and confirm. You can also visit a collection center near you and give sample instantaneously.

2) Can I book without creating an account?

Yes, you can visit a collection center near you to book test without an account. Creating an account helps you track bookings and access reports easily.

3) What payment methods do you accept?

We accept UPI, debit/credit cards, net-banking, wallets, and (where available) Cash on Collection.

4) Is it safe to pay online?

Yes. We use secure payment gateways and standard security controls to protect transactions.


Home Sample Collection

5) Do you provide home sample collection?

Yes. We collect samples from your home/office at your chosen time slot (serviceable locations only).

6) Can I reschedule my sample collection?

Yes, rescheduling is allowed based on slot availability.

7) What if the phlebotomist is delayed?

Delays can happen due to weather, local restrictions, or unforeseen conditions. We’ll notify you if your slot is impacted.

8) How is sample safety ensured during transport?

We follow controlled sample handling and packaging, so samples remain stable until they reach the processing lab.


Test Preparation (Fasting & Instructions)

9) Is fasting required for all tests?

No. Fasting depends on the test. Some tests (like fasting blood glucose/lipids) typically require fasting; others don’t.

10) How many hours of fasting are needed when required?

Many fasting tests require ~8 hours of fasting (water is usually allowed unless advised otherwise). Always follow the specific test instruction shown during booking.

11) I’m on medicines—should I stop them before the test?

Don’t stop medicines unless your doctor advises it. Share current medications during booking/sample collection for correct interpretation guidance.


Reports & Turnaround Time (TAT)

12) When will I get my report?

Most routine reports are typically available within 24–48 hours after the sample is sent to the lab, while some specialized tests take longer (you’ll be informed).

13) From when TAT is calculated?

TAT typically starts after the sample reaches the processing laboratory and generally counts working days (not holidays), depending on the test.

14) How will I receive my report?

We provide e-reports on your registered mobile (SMS/WhatsApp if opted-in) and email.

15) Can I get a hard copy of the report?

Yes, where available. Courier hard copies may have an additional fee.


Accuracy, Re-testing & Doctor Acceptance

16) Will my doctor accept Patheasy reports?

Doctors generally accept reports from established diagnostic providers when proper methodology and quality controls are followed. (If your doctor needs specifics—reference ranges, method, or lab details—we can help.)

17) What if I think my report has an error?

Contact support immediately with your Booking ID. We will review pre-analytical factors (fasting, timing, sample quality) and may recommend a re-collection/re-test if needed.

18) Do you have a money-back/assurance policy?

If there’s a proven discrepancy due to an error on our end (as per policy terms), a refund may be applicable.


Cancellations & Refunds

19) Can I cancel my booking?

Yes—cancellation is typically possible before the sample goes into processing.

20) How will I get my refund after cancellation?

Refunds are processed to your bank account/mode of payment as per policy timelines (commonly within working days).

21) Can I partially cancel a package?

Usually, individual tests within a package can’t be partially cancelled; you can cancel for a specific member (if multiple people are in one order), depending on policy.
